In the extraordinary efforts made, ANE along with UNHCR and RRS was able to successfully complete the construction of emergency 60 hangers (with the dimension of 26mx13m) in Tsore Temporary Refugee Settlement Site, Assosa Operation.
As commended by UNHCR, RRS and Refugee Management Structures, the construction of these hangers was apparently accomplished in less than two weeks of record time and all have started accommodating more than 17,000 refugees relocated from Gure-Shembola and Tongo Refugee Camps.
On the other hand, ANE installed a total of 35 UNHCR Family Tents which were provided for most vulnerable refugees with specific needs.
Accorded by UNHCR and RRS, ANE has commenced the construction of 4000 Emergency Shelters in support of the emergency situation in Tsore Temporary Refugee Settlement Site.
